This policy explains how Nature Happy collects and uses your personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We are the responsible party for your information.

To process, deliver and support your orders. We need this to fulfil our contract with you.
To send the newsletter and occasional offers, only if you opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
To keep records the law requires, such as tax invoices.
To understand how the site is used, if you accept analytics cookies.
We never sell your information.
Only the service providers who help us run the shop, and only what they need. Each is bound by a written agreement to keep it secure:
Our payment provider, to take payment.
Our delivery partners, to deliver your order.
Our email and ecommerce platforms, to run the site and send emails.
Some of these providers store data outside South Africa. When that happens, we make sure the information is protected to a standard at least equal to POPIA.
Order and invoice records: 5 years, as tax law requires.
Email sign-ups: until you unsubscribe.
Messages to us: up to 2 years, unless they relate to an order.
We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls and regular reviews. If we ever suffer a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the Information Regulator.
Necessary cookies keep the site working, for example remembering what is in your cart. Our analytics help us see which pages are useful. It runs on our own server, sets no cookies and records no personal information, and it only runs if you choose “Accept all”.
Our site is not aimed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
